The rise of BabyFace Nelson

Featured artist: Mic Milli - The rise of BabyFace Nelson

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Mic Milli.

How did you decide to become an artist?

Mic Milli: I've always known I wanted to be an artist. From the age of 13 I knew I wanted to do music. Some people Ponder the meaning of life; I don't have that problem.

The best advice given to me was by T.I. he told me perfect our craft because getting signed is the easy part..

What about concerts? Do you play live?

Yes I do perform live. I've done shows in Atlanta Mississippi Kentucky and Tennessee.

Best punchline you ever wrote?

It's the Return of the incredible/like peanuts to an elephant don't see you cuz you're miniscule/pull you under out of nowhere like a tentacle /Mortal Kombat flow n**** now I finish you.

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

The project I am currently promoting is Baby Face Nelson. BabyFaceNelson is a name my Uncle and Cousin used to call me when I was 6 or 7 years old just messing around. When they passed I thought it would be a good way to honor them.

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I would sign a record label if approached with the right deal everyone needs a machine to push them I don't care how great you are. The pros and cons to today's business is that no one is really selling records anymore; you make all of your money off of the shows and merchandise. So an artist spends most of his time recording looking for that next hit. It used to be when you came up with the dope project you could possibly shop it or sell it out of the trunk. Now you have to release it for free.

Any last words?

Yeah I wanna shout out my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I wanna shout out my wife Chundra who's been by my side from the beginning. My camera man and producer ABC. My group Random Shots and homie orange mound LBo.

Where can we contact you?

Thank you for your time. We wish you and your career the success it deserves.
