Featured artist: frankwhite - alt hip-hops new star?

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist frankwhite.

How did you decide to become an artist?

frankwhite: I started rapping when I was 10 years old in the car with my brother mann. He put on that Day N Nite instrumental by Kid Cudi you know and he was showing me a verse he wrote. Yo when I tell you I went right home that day and started trying to write a better verse than him, I really went for it.

To just make sure you do your own thing, practice, and stay real unique.

What about concerts? Do you play live?

I have done a couple parties that had microphones and a hundred people or two, don't really wanna do shows yet.

Best punchline you ever wrote?

B**ch I'm rock solid like a golem with the goal to take more viagra pills than Lamar Odom

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

Currently I'm working on a track to Apostle's Warning by Mobb Deep, I f**k with Havoc man. I just released this real $UICIDEBOY$ inspired track called HOMO$CIDEBOY$ and that s**t made me real proud. I had a lot of fun working on a fun kind of project inspired by artists I f**k with. Them and ThreeSixMafia.

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I mean depending on what the parameters of the record deal were, I would absolutely be down. I mean I wouldn't necessarily like having boundaries as far as my music but to just have so many people enjoy my music and have the reach to collaborate and work with some of my favorite people? That'd be ill

Any last words?

Yeah for sure, uhh big shoutouts to my boy Vex he got views for days on Soundcloud and we grew up together. Shoutout the whole state of NY shoutout Basshead, all my heady friends and shit, shoutout the plug, shoutout Matt. Shoutout every female that made me cum, even if I hate you uhh, and shoutout to my family and just everybody I f**k with.
