Featured artist: Quavlos - Becoming the impossible.
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Quavlos.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Quavlos: It all started from being able to analyze my situation throughout life and able to control my emotions by allowing the hatred, pain, and distruption through a pen and pad, it's more of a therapy session for me, and anyone who tunes in. I never wanted to be famous, I just wanted my voice to be heard. My story to be told. Leaving messages in my music is what makes it all the better.
"Everybody else wants your dream, so make it impossible to reach."
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I do, I put it all on hold for the creation of the album "Kingdom vol.1".
Best punchline you ever wrote?
Ion see no hater, All I see is paper.
What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?
I created "Gudda Emppya" the mixtape on datpiff, and I recently released "Kingdom vol.1" on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, ect. I'm always working on something new.
Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I might, but I love being independent, making all my own beats, artwork, everything.
Any last words?
Lafayette Louisiana, I got love for the city. Also to all of my family and real supporters that stuck it through with me even when I wasn't at the top of the game. Special shoutout to Picaseaux for everything also.
