Featured artist: Lil Kyng - From Worst 2 Great

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Lil Kyng.

How did you decide to become an artist?

Lil Kyng: back when I was young like 10 or 11 me and my hood homies use to freestyle a lot and people use to hear us in be like yall need to get in a studio so at 12 I started focusing more on music and kept pushing from there….

Believe in yourself is like on of the best advice i was given as a artist

- Lil Kyng

What about concerts? Do you play live?

Yes I Would play live but never a show yet still in the awaiting

Best punchline you ever wrote?

Ummm…Its So Many But i think it a line off a freestyle on the Limited Edition Pt.1 Mixtape freestyle off that The Game-Ali Bomaya Instrumental ”Goon Shit Bitch U Elimanated My Chopper In My Hand Shave Your head Like A Cancer Patient….”
- Lil Kyng

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

Limited Edition Pt.1 Mixtape on Datpiff and many more mixtape sites go check it out and three new singles ”Paranormal,Get Low, and She Want This” but we having release She Want This yet but coming soon stay on a look out..

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yea If the deal right ..pros: it’s fun. Let’s face it, anyone who works in a creative field knows they are never going to make a million dollar salary. However, getting to go to award shows, movie and music premiers, concerts, and meeting your favorite singers is worth it. cons: a lot of employees who started years ago when the industry made tons of money usually suck at work. They are used to being spoiled by having large expense accounts and up until recently, there were so many employees that they only know how to do parts of the work, they can’t do an entire project on their own. It used to be that even assistants had assistants and interns had other interns reporting to them. Once all of that went away, the average age of employees at record labels dropped from late 30s and early 40s to late 20s and early 30s because the younger ones have never had those luxuries. Plus more.

Any last words?
